Sample New Tracks

New music from our upcoming release will start going up slowly on our myspace profile.

You can now hear a couple tunes, including Point A, Waltz of the Traffic Patterns and Driving With Your Eyes Open. Meanwhile, we must get back to listening to our studio tracks critically, deciding which ones will make the final cut, mixing, mastering and planning tours.

It was great, but I was ready to come home

The new indie film "It was great, but I was ready to come home" by Kris Swanberg will feature the Orange Mighty Trio piece, "Point A." We will be posting a preview or trailer soon (the tune is one our myspace page). Kris also makes homemade ice cream.

In addition, the film was accepted into the selective South by Southwest Festival film competition, which happens around March 14-19 in Austin, Texas! If you go to the festival, you might be interested to know that Mike will be attending as well.

Contribute photos to our Infrastructure project!

We want you to send us photos or video of any quality, related to transportation, infrastructure, commuting, and traveling. We hope to see both the roads, paths, and byways you take, as well as a personal side of your journeys. We especially want to see you or your comrades in the photos, driving, waiting for buses, on bikes, etc.

Ideas include:

-The starting point of your trips

-What you see while en route

-Public works you use

-Your favorite bridges and overpasses

We will be cobbling these together and creating videos for our infrastructure/transportation themed album.

Please submit to...

Savage TV

We got to go in the studios of Savage TV to play some music and talk. We told them we'd play like savages and when we got there, we saw they had taped a sign to the door bearing our quote.

Musicians, be advised, they are looking for more bands to be on their show.

It was cold in the studio

...and we were laughing. Probably because we were done playing and Matt was standing on a chair taking our picture.
